We’re officially a business, and we had a few clients before we even started, but we’re getting ready for a real launch. Like an open house, some Google ads, maybe even meeting some people in the building. I think it’s about time to start telling people that I own a tech business rather than that I’m a professional poker player. Sure a lot more money comes from poker right now, but my primary focus is on the business and poker is just paying the bills.
After six months of playing around with ideas and working as sub-contractors in different parts of the tech industry, we are ready to start our own business. We were lucky to pick up notnerds.com for $12 from GoDaddy and have decided that the domain really fits our business well. We’ve done some domain speculation in the past, and we know how tough it is to find a good domain, so we’re very pleased to have this one at a great price. Dealing with people who aren’t comfortable with technology or simply don’t have time to handle the tech needs is going to present a number of unique challenges and we’re looking forward to it.
So here we are. We’re great with technology, but we’re Not Nerds!
